As swimming pool operators prepare for a gradual return to activities, we are delighted to provide you with updated Swimming Pool Safety Guidelines (Third Edition) which will sit alongside your COVID specific Safety Protocols. Since the implementation of the previous guidelines in 2010 the industry has grown, developed and advanced in its thinking, and so the Guidelines attached have been updated to reflect changes in practice and legislation.
We encourage you to adopt the pool safety approaches contained in the document, as the measures outlined within will inform your processes for reducing risk and encouraging the safe use of your pool. We extend our grateful appreciation to all who inputted into this document and wish you every success in your preparations for a welcome return to activities.
