We are delighted to welcome Kai Troll, CEO of EuropeActive, to the Ireland Active Conference 2025.
Kai is an accomplished international association executive, social entrepreneur, and thought leader who has dedicated his career to advancing physical activity, health, and wellbeing across Europe. As CEO of EuropeActive, he represents the European fitness, wellness, and health industry at the highest levels, working closely with EU institutions and international partners to influence policy and drive change.
His session, “European Union’s Focus on the Importance of Physical Activity,” will explore how EU strategies, initiatives, and funding priorities are shaping the landscape for operators, professionals, and communities across Ireland and Europe.
Previously, Kai held senior roles at the International Sport and Culture Association, Special Olympics International, and The International Diabetes Federation, and is an active contributor to the UN SDG and UN Sport for Development and Peace initiatives.
